Quick Thoughts: Elden Ring

From what I've seen so far in my time with the test, Elden Ring is very much an open world Dark Souls. Even though its a brand new IP, a lot of what was shown screams Dark Souls. The combat, the HUD, levelling, everything follows that traditional Dark Souls setup. There are some new changes shown off such as jumping whenever and the summonable steed which shake things up, but by and large it'll feel familiar to fans of FromSoftware's other games.
