Overwatch 2026 Spotlight

Today was the Overwatch 2026 Spotlight and it brought with it some big changes. Firstly, Overwatch 2 is changing its name back to just Overwatch. Season 1 of this new update starts on February 10th and it will bring in five of the new heroes that are planned to release this year. The five new characters and their role are as follows:

DOMINA (Tank)

EMRE (Damage)

MIZUKI (Support)

ANRAN (Damage)

JETPACK CAT (Support)

Additionally, roles are getting a bit of an update as well with the heroes getting further sorted by new sub-roles.

A couple of cherry-picked bits, the game's UI is getting an overhaul and the Switch 2 version of Overwatch will launch alongside Season 2.
