XBOX Shake Ups Continue

In a post on the XBOX blog, Matt Booty unveiled additional changes coming to XBOX and their studios. In quick summary:

• Two hundred sixty-eight roles were eliminated.

• Activision will oversee World's Edge and Rare. They're now also in charge of Halo, but it will be a team separate from Call of Duty.

• Bethesda will oversee Obsidian.

• King will oversee Microsoft Casual Games.

• Playground and Turn 10 will merge to focus on Forza and Fable.

The rest of the post covers some previously released details such as Compulsion and Double Fine going off on their own. Same for Undead Labs. Things aren't looking good at Ninja Theory, however, as two separate agreements have fallen through.
