Xbox Game Pass Changes

Microsoft announced today new changes to Game Pass effective immediately. It's a good news, bad news sort of situation. Game Pass is now in three new tiers: Essential, Premium, and Ultimate. Essential is the new Core and Premium is the new Standard from the previous tiers. All three support cloud gaming and online console multiplayer as well as extra PC and console games to play. Prices hold steady for Essential and Premium, $9.99USD and $14.99USD per month respectively. It's when we get to Ultimate that there are some big changes. Included with Ultimate are EA Play (as before) but newly added is Ubisoft+ Classics and Fortnite Crew, seventy-five day one games a year, and up to $100USD in store rewards that you can earn. Yay, more games! However, it's now seen a huge increase to $29.99USD per month. It's a bitter pill to swallow with all the price jumps Game Pass has seen in the past year or so.
