Although Microsoft posted it via Xbox Wire on August 17th, 2023, it's good to be reminded that the digital Xbox 360 store will be shutting down on July 29th, 2024. What this means is that you won't be able to make digital purchases of games, DLC, and "other entertainment content" from either the shop on the Xbox 360 or through marketplace.xbox.com. Additionally, the Microsoft Moves & TV app will stop working on that day too. Although you won't be able to make new purchases after that date, anything you've already purchased will continue to be playable and redownloadable. On the flipside to all this, backwards compatible Xbox 360 games will still be available for purchase through the Xbox One and the Xbox Series X|S. Here's the full list of what will still be available: Xbox One Backward Compatibility - Xbox Wire
