Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Move Learning

A new feature added to this generation of Pokémon games allows you to turn off the notice when your Pokémon learns a new move during level up, but it's not always working as intended. When this feature is turned on, you don't get notified of a new move and it automatically goes to the relearn move menu. Because the games now allow you to freely swap in any move you've learned so far at no cost, this isn't necessarily a bad feature. Unfortunately, in my own experience even with this setting turned off the game will still occasionally not tell you if your Pokémon learned a move or not. My brothers also experienced this as well and no amount of turning the setting on or off would correct it. So, consider this a notice to look at your Pokémon's learned move list periodically and see if new ones are in there waiting for you. I was running Incinerate on my Fuecoco until it reached its final evolution because I didn't even realize it had learned Flamethrower since it went directly to the move menu.
