Pokémon GO Changes

Pokémon GO has expanded the Pokémon storage limit to 6,300 and item capacity to 5,300. These aren't free updates of course; you have to buy the expansions. Arguably, the biggest change comes in just a few days when Niantic will severely hobble remote raiding. Remote Raid Pass prices will nearly double in the coming days and there will be a five a day limit to how many remote raids you can participate in. In turn, Remote Raid Passes may show up as one of the weekly bonuses, but you can't hold more than three at a time. Any extra you collect beyond that will be turned into Premium Raid Passes instead. All of this due to remote raiding not being in the spirit of the game and Niantic trying to course correct their pandemic changes and make in person raiding the default again. Ironic considering that the main Pokémon games themselves freely support raiding and trading locally or remotely.
