As promised, Capcom's Monster Hunter event earlier today revealed more information about the upcoming Sunbreak DLC. First and foremost, its arrival on June 30th for $39.99 or $49.99 for the deluxe version. The new hub world, Elgado, was shown as well as some of the new monsters. Previously revealed Lunagaron and Malzeno were featured and newly revealed Garangolm, a giant, rocky gorilla, made its first appearance alongside a goblin-like raptor, a Bishaten variant, and Astalos. Since this adds the Master rank quests, completion of the Hub 7-star quest: Serpent Goddess of Thunder is required for entry into Sunbreak. Three new amiibo were also announced, this time for Malzeno and a Palico and Palamute dressed in Malzeno armor.
