Monster Hunter at TGS 2021

Capcom revealed a couple of things for Monster Hunter at TGS 2021. Among them, the release date for the PC version of Monster Hunter Rise (January 12, 2022). This version will support 4K, high-res textures, uncapped framerates, and mouse and keyboard support. There will also be a demo soon on October 13th.


The next two collabs for Rise will be Ghost 'N Goblins on October 29th and Sonic the Hedgehog in November. For the Ghost 'N Goblins collab, your hunter will be able to don an Arthur costume. The Sonic collab hasn't yet said what it will be.


The DLC expansion, Sunbreak, gave a name to its flagship monster. It's Malzeno. Also shown was Shogun Ceanataur as a returning monster.


Monster Hunter Stories 2 also got its fair share of update news as well. New Co-Op quests and monsties are coming in the next two free title updates. Among them, Dreadking Rathalos and Molten Tigrex.


All in all, lots of good stuff coming for Monster Hunter fans real soon.
