Microsoft Acquires Activision

Like the title says, Microsoft picked up Activision Blizzard for just shy of $70 billion dollars. That means the following series now fall under their umbrella: Overwatch, Diablo, Call of Duty, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro just to name a few. It won't take effect right away as the deal hasn't closed yet so it'll be some time before we see what changes because of this. Microsoft says for the time being Activision will still be acting independently until the deal is finalized.
