INFINITY STRASH: DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai

The next DRAGON QUEST game is coming this year on September 28th and is based on the anime DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai. The game, INFINITY STRASH: DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai will be releasing on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4/5, and Xbox Series X|S. According to the Square-Enix website, the game will cover up to the 41st episode of the anime so having existing knowledge of the series isn't necessarily required. As you'll see in the video above, the game will use real-time combat and looks to play similar to a Dynasty Warriors or Trials of Mana game. There will be two main game modes: Story Mode and the Temple of Recollection. Story Mode is exactly as it sounds while the Temple of Recollection is a repeatable dungeon that changes with each playthrough. The further you get, the better the rewards will be. Of course, the way it's described is akin to a rogue lite, so back out before you fail and lose your spoils.
