Fandom, the for-profit wiki host, announced today that it has acquired several notable entertainment and gaming sites from Red Ventures. The acquisition of GameSpot, Metacritic, TV Guide, GameFAQS, Giant Bomb, Cord Cutters News, and Comic Vine will rank Fandom number fourteen in the US for ad supported sites according to their press release. This adds on to Fandom's current 40 million pages of content and is expected to bring them an additional 46 million monthly active users on top of their current 300 million monthly active users. Over the past several years, Fandom has acquired ScreenJunkies, Curse Media, and Fanatical.
